David Gaines is the founder of Careignition.
Prior to founding Careignition, David worked as an economic consultant and then in the benefits department of a Fortune 500 Company.
David holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics and History from Williams College.
Matthew Lenert is the Lead Data Architect at Careignition.
Prior to working with Careignition, Matt worked in Technical Services at EPIC, an Electronic Medical Records company. After which, Matt entered the PhD program at Vanderbilt University in Biomedical Informatics.
Matt holds a Bachelors Degrees in Math and Economics from Emory University and MS in Biomedical Informatics from Vanderbilt University. Matt received his PhD in biomedical informatics from Vanderbilt in 2021
Christina Stebbins is a Software Engineer at Careignition.
Prior to working at Careignition, Christina, always interested in clinical medicine, held positions ranging from EMT to BIomedical researcher as a student at the University of Chicago
Christina holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from the University of Chicago where she was also Pre-Med. Christina attended the University of Chicago’s Masters program in Computer science.
Seth Rhoades was the founding Data Scientist of Careignition and now works with Careignition as an advisor.
Prior to working with Careignition, Seth was a Bio-informaticist at Vanderbilt and later developed a platform for modeling cellular processes.
Seth holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Pennsylvania.
Ernest R. Smith is an Advisor to Careignition.
Most recently Ernie served as the Director of Employee Benefits at AK Steel, a Fortune 500 steel manufacturer headquartered in Ohio. Ernie’s over 40 years in the benefits industry, includes leading the health and welfare benefits practice for Towers Perrin in Cincinnati and Charlotte, and serving on the Health and Retirement Benefits Committee of the Business Roundtable.
Ernie holds a liberal arts degress from Williams College.
Bradford T. Buxton is an Advisor to Careignition.
Brad was most recently a Vice President at Northwest Community Health. Brad holds more than 30 years in the managed care industry, including senior positions at BCBS of IL, Anthem BCBS, and the American Hospital Association.
Brad holds a Bachelors Degree in English from Brown University and a MPH/MHA from the Yale School of Public Health
